During a recent field visit to Daikundi, World Vision Afghanistan’s National Director and Nai Qala’s President met with women from communities participating in the DAWAM project. Listening to their experiences offered a powerful reminder that safe water and sanitation transform daily life, improving health, reducing the burden on women and girls, and strengthening community resilience. 💧As one woman from a remote village shared:“Last winter was different because we had water close to our home. It reduced our hardship, saved us time, and made life much easier for our family.”Stories like hers remind us that access to safe water is about far more than infrastructure; it means dignity, safety, and opportunities for women and girls.#DAWAM #CommunityVoices #WomenAndGirls #WASH #FCDO ...
